Restoring all of your applications after flashing a new ROM or resetting your device can be an arduous affair. Sure, there are a multitude of backup apps out there, but many may take issue with the amount of storage used. Instead of storing APKs in device memory, many users opt to keep their backed up applications on their computer instead.
APK Batch Installer by XDA Forum Member hamsteyr is a Windows-based tool that does exactly what the name suggests. After running the program your are prompted to set a folder where your APK files are kept. The next step gives you the option to select which of the APK files you would like installed on your device. Simply click “Install,” and wait for those files to be adb install-ed to your device. It really doesn’t get any easier than that.
This tool requires you to have ADB set up, but if you haven’t done so already, this might just be the excuse you’re looking for. If this sounds like it may be of use to you, head over to the original release thread._________
