RogueTools v1 for Vogue Android

A lot of us are closely watching the Android development on the HTC Vogue, where the devs are making huge leaps in porting tools and the most cutting edge versions of Android. In the interest of making everything a bit easier and faster, xda member myn has come up with a set of two tools that allows Vogue, Kaiser, and Polaris owners to do two things: change the screen density on the fly, and overclock the processor. The apps have been thoroughly tested by many devs and beta testers and they seem to work better than expected since these changes seem to have very little impact on battery life.
I now present you with RogueTools v1.0.
- This application is designed for the Vogue, Kaiser and Polaris devices. It allows you to dynamically overclock your device as well as change the screen density.
- This application requires write access to your /system so this will only work on EXT2 and NAND installations.
- Overclocking Notes:
- Overclocking results will vary. Based upon the beta test results everyone was able to Overclock to 500mhz and have very stable results. Above this results really were mixed. Give it a try, I’d love to hear your results.
