Have you ever imagined to have an “official” ROM in your Samsung Galaxy S II made by Cyanogen? Well, that may become a reality very soon. XDA member MartyLK pulled our attention of an article found on the Internet earlier today where “apparently” Samsung is becoming more friendly with the developer community. According to the article, CyanogenMod will receive SGS II devices to work on a CM7 build. Moreover, another member from teamhacksung – who brought you CM7 on the SGS- mentions that the four included on the team will get a device as well.
Perhaps this should be followed by other brands in order to create a real link between manufacturers and developers, one that will bring direct benefits to the end user. On the other hand, it may only be a strategy to sell more SGS II to devs.
What do you think? Please give us your comments.

Now this is outstanding! – Samsung and official CM7 support
According to this article, Samsung might be well on its way to using CyanogenMOD 7 on its smartphones. I use a custom CM7 on my HD2 and love it. It can only be a good thing for Samsung phones.
