Save Internal Storage Space with FolderMount

These days, most devices ship with a reasonable amount of internal storage. However, some older devices can find themselves struggling for space when it comes to installing large apps such as games or offline navigation. Even newer devices can be filled fairly quickly, due to the size of some applications out there. These apps usually install the required data on internal storage, and many cannot be moved to an external SD. FolderMount by XDA Senior Member madmack offers a solution to this problem.
FolderMount frees up space on your internal SD card by, as the name suggests, taking large folders of application data and mounting them on your external SD card. While there are other applications out there that will perform similar functions, this is the first that offers support for Android 4.2.2. It’s also holo-themed throughout and intuitive to use. The application is still in an early beta stage, so there may well be a few bugs to iron out, but the initial feedback seems positive. Needless to say, this application does require root access to function, and will run on Android versions 2.3 – 4.2.2.
If you’re looking for a solution to overcrowded internal storage, check out the application thread for more information.
