If you have a cell phone, there is a big chance that you use it for texting from time to time. The problem with the SMS feature in many phones is that marketing companies will simply spam you to their hearts content and this can get rather annoying. Fear no more because XDA member airplanez released an app in the market that is called AntiSpamSMS, which is, as its name suggests, a filter so that the SMS are blocked by your Android device unless the sender is “white listed”.
While the screenshot shows it is in Korean, the app has an option for English users. Give the app a go and see if it finally rids you of your spam problems.
- English Locale Support
- Usable Regex.
- Allow My Contacts
- Block Not My Contacts
- Block No Phone Number
- Block Inconsistency Number
- SMS/Block Notify(sound, vibration)
- Backup/Restore Setting
- Remove Symbol,Country Code
- Case Insensitive option
You can find more information in the application thread.
