About a year ago, we featured an app developed by XDA Forum Member ejezisek on the XDA Portal called Floating Draw. It was among a new wave of exciting apps that allowed users to multitask with much greater flexibility by having one app float over another. And as with such early apps, functionality was limited to only a certain, singular action. And in Floating Draw’s case, this was drawing over the screen on an invisible template.
Fast forward a year, and ejezisek has given Floating Draw a major update in the form of “Draw Rooms.” Unlike any floating app we’ve come across, Floating Draw now enables you to host such draw rooms on your phone screen, where other users can enter and doodle as well. In a sense, Draw Rooms can be likened in many ways to online chat rooms, except without the chatting and with drawing. This, of course, is in addition to the features that have been around since Floating Draw’s inception, such as offline drawing, geometric shapes, text, and the ability to clear or save your drawings and scribbles.
Floating Draw is compatible with devices running Android version 2.1 and newer, and can be downloaded for free. To check the app out or to learn more, visit the application thread._________
