Script Partitions SD Card Without Losing Fat32 Contents

Ever tried to use App2SD+ or Link2SD? Then you most probably stumbled upon a pretty tricky step in the installation process—partitioning your SD Card. On some ROMs it requires third party software, which often leads to incompatibility issues.

Moreover, partitioning an SD-card requires you to format it first, which inevitably erases all data on it. And though moving 200 MB of data to your computer isn’t that much of a problem, you probably don’t want to think about having to move more than 8 GB of music, movies and apps from a 16 GB card.

Thanks to a script by XDA Forum Member unCoRrUpTeD, you can now repartition your SD Card without losing data. All you need to do is push a package to the /tmp folder on your SD-card! To get started, make your way to the original thread. For those without adb experience, take a quick look at the All In One Guide to ADB first.
