Search XDA With DuckDuckGo

You are all probably well aware that the search on our beloved forums is a little less than up to par. Normally, it takes quite a while to get through anything and in many occasions we end up empty handed. Let alone the fact that the search time outs were becoming a nuisance (that is gone now). If you are yearning for something different, XDA moderator 12aon has pointed us to a search engine called DuckDuckGo, which basically has the option to search on a single site as opposed to throughout the web (like Google or Yahoo!). I know what you are thinking: “but I can filter the results in google as well and tell it to search only on xda”. True, but not everyone knows how to do this. DDG will, rather nicely and easily, let you choose from hundreds of sites from a scroll down list. No commands required!

Intrigued? Take it for a test drive and let us know how you liked it?

You can find the search engine in this link! Happy searching!
