HTC Sense is HTC’s UI overlay that is built into OEM Android Roms, and by rooting your phone, you have the option to remove it. Some people like it because it is feature packed but others suggest that it also is a big memory hog.
Why not have the best of both worlds? XDA member JAguirre1231 has done a little modification to ADWLauncher and given it the sense look. Currently this mod is only for MDPI devices only.
To install it you need to:
- Download and install the Sense.Apk
- Install ADWLauncher.Apk
- Download and extract the .zip file attached to the thread
- move the adw_settings.xml and adb_backup.db to the root of your SD card.
- Import the files using the ADW restore feature.
Seems easy enough, so if you are interested, then look at the thread for more detailed instructions and give it a try.
