Shake2PlayNext for Android Released

Shake2PlayNext for Android Released

To many of us, the feeling of being able to listen to our favorite music on the go, without carrying several devices, is the reason why we purchase high tech mobile phones (either WM, Android, or iPhone). However, there comes times when we get to a song in present in our playlists that we simply don’t feel like listening to at the time, but we are busy doing things with our hands and cannot change the song. To solve this dilemma, XDA member atrant has created a nice little app, which makes use of the built in accelerometer in many of our Android devices. In essence, it allows you to shake the device to change the song to the next one on the playlist. So, say your device is in a holder on your waist or in your pocket. By shaking your body (and hence the device), the currently playing will skip to the next one.

Like to listen to the music while on road? With this app you won’t need to get the phone from your pocket to play next! Shake your pocket to play next track!

Supports default player (including HTC), MortPlayer, Mixzing.

Currently doesn’t work on some devices while screen is off =( but there will be an option later to keep screen on.

You can find the download link and some discussions in the application thread.
