The dawn of 3D pictures is here, or so it seems. The Evo 3D as well as a couple of other Android devices have been blessed with the gift of a 3D camera that will allow you to shoot pictures in 3D. Everything is fine and dandy, but there is a problem if you are used to MMS. If you don’t have messaging in your plan, you cannot send them and to top things off, even if you did, the MMS size is rather limited. Well, it looks like the problem at hand has been addressed by TeamWin because XDA Recognized Developer Shinzul has just informed us that they are releasing the first beta of Twin Pic. This app uses the push API that your device uses for Gmail (read, low-no battery usage), and the best part is that it is completely free, no need for a messaging plan. You can share your regular or 3D pics via this app in a very similar way to the one you are used to with MMS, just click a few buttons and boom! You are done. The dev has provided a list of people who have 3D capable devices if you want to try this out.
The app is still in beta, so please try it out and leave some feedback for the app to be improved.
Ever been frustrated about not being able to share your 3D pics with your friends? Well, look no farther! Twin Pic does just that . It is essentially MMS picturemail without using MMS at all!
You can find more information in the application thread.
