Shorten URL’s Easily With Unofficial goo.gl App

Since Google launched it’s URL shortener last September, there have been mnay improvements although one that is still lacking is an official Android app.

XDA forum member nathanpc has now written an unofficial application that uses the goo.gl URL shortener service on-the-go.

The app is available for free on the Market and requires you to be running Android 1.5+.

Features still to be implemented include being able to copy URLs to clipboard – a function that was introduced to the goo.gl service after being frequently requested on the Google forums.
