By now, we’ve all learned that ninjas don’t particularly care for fruit. This distaste for produce is normally settled with the help of a sharpened samurai sword, but what do you do when your sword is temporarily out of commission? You use the other stereotypical ninja weapon, ninja stars, to make a fruit puree.
XDA Forum Member east_62687 recently created the game Shuriken Strike: Ninja Master, and perhaps the best way to think of it is that it’s a dramatically different (and more difficult) take on the popular Fruit Ninja. Instead of wielding a sword, you have an unlimited supply of ninja stars at your disposal. To fire, you simply swipe in the direction that you’d like to throw your star, and away your projectile goes. Just like the original Fruit Ninja, your goal is to destroy the fruit without hitting any bombs.
If you can get over the high level of difficulty, Shuriken Strike offers a high replay value thanks to 87 missions spread across four unique, unlockable stages and rewards. You are also able to upgrade your ninjitsu between rounds and can pick up certain powerups during the game. And to top things off, the cartoon graphics are crisp and run smoothly on modern devices.
If you are looking for more fruit slicing Android fun, head over to the game thread and give Shuriken Strike a shot._________
