What makes smartphones truly smart isn’t the ability to access information whenever we need, but rather how they can make certain decisions for us so that we don’t have to. We have seen several apps for Android like Tasker and Locale that help automate the things we do based on schedule, location, or other parameters. But if you want a simple way of only changing the ringer, these apps can be overkill. That’s where Silence comes in handy.
Brought to us by XDA Forum Member skmpowdjy, Silence is a completely free app with a good Holo UI design aesthetic. The app allows you to specify a schedule for your ringer mode, as well as toggle your WiFi, Bluetooth or Airplane Mode. You can also specify to set everything back the way it was after the scheduled time slot.
You can learn more about the app and find its Google Play Store link in the forum thread._________
