If you’ve been hiding under a rock for the last month, you might not have seen this great tool written by XDA forum member jiqqaman.
Released back in the first week on July, SimpleRoot OTA Edition makes the EVO 4G rooting process that little bit easier.
It’s a Windows PC application to help you to get root access on your EVO 4G. All you have to do is click the buttons starting from Step 1 and follow the instructions thereon.
SimpleRoot also has some extra goodies in the Extras Menu where you can select Flash recovery and choose the recovery of your choice.
Requires .NET Framework 4.0, and HTC Sync.
