Previously, we introduced an app called Notable. The app featured a simple concept and design, but was big on practicality. Having your smartphone remind you of various things is probably one of its most useful, yet simple functions, right? That is probably why we’re introducing another app called Simplest Reminder by XDA Forum Member kml.krk.
Simplest Reminder, while not revolutionary, is to be credited for its, well, simplicity and usefulness. Served up with pleasant Holo-themed aesthetics, the function of the app is to remind users with a notifying tone and vibration, as well as a notification in the slide-down notification area. Users choose what it reminds, along with a desired time and date to be reminded. It also offers options in the settings menu to turn on and off notification tones, vibrations, and determine the vibration pattern. Once the reminder has popped up, it can either be edited or deleted by pressing it in the notification area.
Kml.krk has developed a minimalist app that certainly lives up to its name in concept and design, yet doesn’t skip out on usefulness and practicality. Coming in at an absolutely tiny 195 kilobytes, Simplest Reminder is available for users of Android versions 2.3 and newer, and is ad-free and free in the Play store. So if you’re interested, make sure to check out the original thread for more details._________
