Older Android versions such as Froyo and Gingerbread sometimes seem to be put on the back burner, given less priority than their successors Ice Cream Sandwich and Jelly Bean, and rationally so. However, still being the preferred Android versions for many users of older or less powerful devices, it is great to see another ICS launcher arrive for Gingerbread.
TT Launcher by XDA Forum Member ttmobilefb, is essentially the stock ICS launcher for the aging iterations of Android. It has the familiar dock and app drawer button, customization such as desktop and app drawer transition effects, and the look and feel of other similar launchers. However, the one thing that differentiates TT launcher from the others is its widgets tab in the app drawer. Now this may not seem to be much of a big deal to some, but it does complete the stock ICS launcher’s experience on older Android versions as a whole, which many are sure to appreciate. Customization include a variety of transition effects, number of dock icons, and the ability to keep the launcher in phone memory, as well as many other options.
TT Launcher is a well-polished launcher, with all the tried and true functions and features Holo launchers have. Ttmobilefb has made TT Launcher free exclusively on XDA, and the download is available along with more details in the original thread._________
