Sixaxis Controller is one of the most popular controller interfaces for Android gamers. It’s intuitive, accurate, and people just seem to really enjoy it—perhaps because many of us already own Playstation 3 controllers. However, it can be a serious pain getting games mapped out, and forgetting just one button can lead to major in-game issues.
To alleviate these woes, XDA forum member mythek88 has begun a community project to compile all the important Sixaxis gaming profiles in one place. As mythek88 says:
the purpose of this thread is to share those pre-made touch profiles. This will save time for a lot of people, whether you are a newbie, an experienced user but don’t have time, or simply a lazy bum.
It is also asked that if anyone contributes to the master list, they add things such as:
please provide important information such as device resolution, in-game settings (control schemes, sensitivity, and etc…), a list of key functions, and any other important information that may be needed to make your touch profiles work on other devices. Also if you can also attach a screen shot of the button mappings, it would be cool too.
Together, along with fellow XDA gamers, mythek88 could have a set controller list for every game out there. Currently, they have mappings for a veritable boatload of games. However, currently the mappings are only supported on WXGA and qHD displays. But as more members contribute, the supported resolutions will also increase.
If you’re interested in contributing to the list or you need to grab a key map , head over to the original thread. Sharing is caring!_________
