Speed Up Game Clock Times with GMD Speed Time

We’ve all played those games where you’re forced to wait around to let a particular scenario play out, whether it is waiting for crops to grow in farming games, or cities to grow in simulation games. And we’ve all just wanted to press an imaginary “fast forward” button in order to bypass these long delays.
Contrary to his username, XDA Senior Member StupidIdea actually had a clever idea. He developed GMD Speed Time, an app that hastens your device’s system clock. Initially created for his daughter to speed up her farming games, the app speeds up the process of various game scenarios that use the device clock as a reference.
When the app is loaded, your device’s clock will appear incorrect, but the time will revert back to normal when the app is closed. There are various clock speeds available in the app, ranging from x2 up to a maximum of x1000. Advertised as a farming game tool, the app will likely work on any other game that uses the device clock. Also note the app does require root permissions.
If you want to boost your in game time, grab GMD Speed Time from the application thread.
