Stay Uncapped with Data Service Governor Killer for EVO

It seems that we cannot live with limits in our lives, and because of this, the barriers imposed must come down from time to time. In this case, XDA member BThomas22x comes into the world of the HTC EVO bearing a small gifts for those worried about losing speed on this data intensive device. It seems that many carriers will limit the bandwidth after a certain amount of data has been used for a single month. This is known as throttling and this is exactly what the dev tries to get rid of with this modification. This will not make your internet better, so please be sure that you read and understand what you are downloading and flashing onto your device before doing so. What this will do is prevent your device to become slower online if you are someone who uses data a lot (download games, stream movies, etc).
The dev has posted two different methods to get this mod in your EVO, and he also claims that it is not rom dependent, so it will work on any rom out there. Please be sure that if you do flash this, give some feedback to ensure that everything works the way it should.
1. What does this do?
This is a modification to the services.jar framework file, that allows you to have an un-throttled internet.
2. Will this make my internet faster?
Yes and No. This will not “Upgrade” your internet. This only takes the trottle off, so you can download, or play games and not have to worry about it hitting a certain peak and lagging from that point on. It doesn’t provide you with a new internet, only a warm fuzzy feeling from knowing you don’t have to worry about it capping off.
You can find more information in the mod thread.
