Stream Content and Send Files from Your Mobile Device via WiFi with IPCast

With each passing generation, the specifications sheet on our mobile devices grow better and better. It’s now not uncommon to see devices with 32 or 64 gigs of internal storage, and there are also 128 gig MicroSD cards for those lucky enough to own devices with expandable storage.

With all of this available space, many users end up keeping a large cache of media content and useful files on their mobile devices. Wouldn’t it be nice if there were a quick and easy way to share this content to other devices connected to the same network? Well, this us exactly what IPCast by XDA Forum Member stefanuc111 is designed to do.

IPCast lets users wirelessly stream and send content and miscellaneous files to any devices connected to the same local network. To start sharing with IPCast, simply use the built-in and user-friendly interface to select which files to share. Alternatively, IPCast features Gallery integration using Android’s Share intent, so you also distribute content directly from your Gallery app.

Your newly shared content can then be accessed via any web browser, regardless of OS platform on the target device. Additionally, IPCast supports “SoundBeam” synchronization, which allows you to sync playback across various devices.

If you’re looking for a fast and efficient way of sharing your files and content across your LAN, head over to the application thread and give IPCast a shot.
