SuperPower Battery Saving App Updated
Posted November 13, 2010 at 06:00 pm by Captainkrtek
As we saw last month, XDA senior moderator Chainfire released his Beta version of “SuperPower”. It is a battery saving app that features many different methods of controlling your devices functions such as:
- Cellular data
- CPU speed
- Bands (2G/3G)
- Background data
Using the app yields greater control and flexibility over how much battery you wish to preserve by setting multiple variables. The app was last updated on the 4th of this month and is still in development. Chainfire has many great features planned down the road and we look forward to following his developments.
To get the updated app, check out the development thread and try it out for yourself. On a side note, Root and Android 2.2 are required for a few functions and are recommended to have to take advantage of all of the apps features.
