The LG Optimus G made quite a splash when it was released and given a home here. Before the Optimus G, many found LG’s offerings to be somewhat lackluster compared to the competition. However, the specs of the G tell a very different story. Now, the Sprint and AT&T versions have unofficial builds of ClockworkMod Recovery.
XDA Senior Member thecubed has released the recovery for LG’s latest offering on Sprint as well as on AT&T. This is a somewhat different release, though, as users actually cannot flash this to their devices. In order to make this work, users must use fastboot to boot the image every time they want to go to recovery. So this isn’t for every day use, but rather for developers to get things rolling.
It’s the non-touch version of ClockworkMod 6.x. Since it’s only a temporary recovery, that isn’t a big deal. It’s a good start for LG’s latest flagship.
