The Next Chapter in Angry Birds Series Released

The last time we brought you news from the world famous developers Rovio, it was to tell you that Angry Birds Space had been released. Since then it has gathered for 50 million downloads. That’s a pretty big deal. Rovio isn’t done with everyone’s favorite raging, flying, pig killers. The next chapter in the Angry Birds series, called Bad Piggies, is now available for download.
Unlike the classic paradigm of slinging birds into well guarded pigs, this iteration of the Angry Birds series focuses more on the pigs. Instead of launching birds into them, gamers will be leading pigs through levels to finish lines. It is a much different dynamic than what Angry Birds fans are used to. Gamers will lead pigs through a 2D side scroller level to a finish line by building custom transports.
The transport building brings the puzzle back into Bad Piggies. Instead of figuring out how to launch a certain number of birds into a structure to kill pigs, gamers will be building transports out of a certain number of parts that must face the rigors of the level. Despite the different mechanics, players will experience many of the fun elements of the previous Angry Birds: boat loads of levels, secret levels, and the ability to use your creativity to beat them. A fun new addition is a few sandbox levels that let gamers roam around and have fun.
