So, you just got your x10, and want to get rid of the stock look and feel of the device. You have searched the x10 forum and have found various bits and pieces regarding how to make a theme. However, having so many tabs opened at the same time is making your head spin and quickly give up. If this somewhat describes your current situation, then XDA member _calum_ has a solution for you. The dev has compiled, what I believe, is a fantastic resource guide for anyone wanting to look for themes, installing them, and even making their own. The guide is split into posts for ease of reading and is concise and to the point, no more running around looking for various answers throughout the net. Simply follow the guide, add your own dash of creativity, and before you know it, you will have a device that is more “you.”
Despite on how complete the guide may seem, the dev is asking for input as he believes that this is a work in progress, and as such will be updated with any and all feedback provided on this.
This thread was opened to consolidate the information/knowledge about themes for the x10. It is basically a reference thread with key bits of information and links so that a new user can find all the necessary information in one place. At the moment this is spread out all over the place, there are a lot of different threads with different bits of information, [...]. It should also help us avoid the old ‘where the hell was that image…?’ and ‘where was that … thread again?’.
You can find more information in the guide thread.
