Q‘I’m confused. Every official statement I’ve seen from T-Mobile has said the UVKA6 is the “official” update to 2.2. But if you look in the development section everyone from Team Whiskey to Supercurio is calling KA7 official. AFAIK, Tmo has never made a reference to KA7. Do they know something I don’t?’
A KA7 is a leak. KA6 is official

Q‘How do you amplify headphones without flashing?’
A Use Audio boost app on the Market. It boosts audio the same way as Voodoo does by upping the internal amp setting. You don’t need to flash but do need to be rooted.

Q‘Is there an alternative music player that supports HVGA? I found Mortplayer but there isn’t a skin available for HVGA-Screens.’

Q‘Under settings, there is this ‘Privacy’ setting where there are back up my settings and automatic restore. What is it actually for? Do I have to check them on?’
A This feature allows the phone to save some settings e.g. wallpaper, WiFi networks connected to, apps downloaded to the cloud. Then if you ever factory reset your phone, after having entered your Google account in the initial setup, those setting will be restored automatically.
