Theme Transparent Widget Skins for Android
Posted October 12, 2010 at 06:00 pm by orb3000
XDA member ilangoadigal has just skinned several widgets for your Android device such as Pandora, Weather Channel, and GTasks now giving a transparent fresh look. The developer is open to requests for more applications to be skinned, so all you have to do is step in and ask (no system widgets).
In order to make applications work properly, you must uninstall first the app before installing transparent versions.
Other applications are being transparent skinned too:

[THEME l MOD] Transparent widget skins. Pandora, Weather Channel + Requests
I have a thing for transparent widgets. I’ve skinned Pandora, Weather Channel, and GTasks here at first to be transparent. You can request others for me to look at to skin, but I don’t think I can do system widgets (like HTC or Cyanogen).
Always remember to uninstall your current application before installing these skinned versions.
Also the skinning process (for images, anyway) is very easy to do if you don’t know how, I can post a guide if you would like to know how.

Weather Channel (attached to this post)
Dato Gtasks(attached to this post)
You can find more information in the skinning thread.
