Like most users of XDA, I love custom ROM’s. Although as a minimalist, when I download a ROM for my Galaxy Nexus, I tend to go through and delete the apps I do not need. I’m sure many of you do as well, and it’s annoying that it has to be done manually every time I want to flash again. Now thanks to XDA Forum Member _Logie, it can be done frustration-free with his latest program: APK Swapper.
Yes, this is a program that you open on your PC. Simply run the executable, drag the ROM file in it’s unaltered .zip format onto the window, and presto—a list of all the applications in the ROM will populate. Then simply select the applications you do not want (the latest version is compatible with multi-select), and press delete. The application will even allow you inject your own APK files into the ROM, saving you the hassle of having to install them manually later.
So head on over to the original thread and give this bad boy a spin._________
