Transformer OC’ed Yet Again…. This Time to 1.6 GHz

It seems that XDA member Blades has not slept for the last week or so because we have seen kernels from him almost every other day, each time with more awesomeness loaded on them.  This time he brings us the option of overclocking the device all the way to 1.6 GHz. Aside from a witty remark against Engadget’s take on his first kernel, he has been able to get a rather stable kernel blasting through Quadrant Advanced yielding a rather incredible score of 5308 and yes, I know how many of you feel about Quadrant and the relative meaninglessness of this, but when you are comparing apples to apples as in different versions of the same kernels, what they mean is actually meaningless.

Some results are mixed up with some people getting lock ups while others run smoothly. You all must remember that all devices vary and because of this what you get on your device may not be the same as others in terms of stability. However, if you feel adventurous enough and if you want to help the dev, please try this out and post logcats if you experience problems with it. Coming up next…. 1.7 GHz! Stay tuned!

After a couple ID-10-T errros and in between chasing my two dogs (one AmStaff, one Dogo Argentino – not fun) who were after a rather poisonous (well, more like pissed off) looking frog. I HAS 1.6GHZ stable. OMG..

Well, its stable for me.. I’ll bet someone claims it burned their face off and kicked their puppy. but still.

You can find more information in the kernel thread.
