Here at XDA, English is our primary language. However, English isn’t everyone’s native tongue. Naturally, not every app that we wish to install is in our language of choice. And unfortunately, decompiling and applying a translated XML is not an option, as many applications are heavily protected from APKTool and you won’t be able to build them again.
If your favorite application is in a foreign language, fear not. There is now an easy way to translate it without digging into decompiled code. XDA Forum Member babuilyas came up with a great method using the good old Xposed Framework by XDA Senior Recognized Developer rovo89 to simply overload the res files.
All you need to do is to decompile an app, translate it, and copy the translated strings.xml to your SD Card. ResOverloader will do the rest. No coding, recompiling, or other complicated tasks are required. Pull, translate, push, and reboot. Simple as that!
