Treat Your Calculator the Way you’ve Always Wanted with AID Calculator

Smartphones (previously known as PDA phones) have always been famous for a few things. They can help us organize our days better with task managers and calendars, they are great ways of storing other people’s information thanks to the “Contacts” apps, and they allow us to be productive while being away from the office thanks to the ability to send and receive e-mails. However, one of the most commonly used applications on any platform has to be the calculator function that is built onto virtually every mobile OS in this blue Earth of ours. We have seen our fair share of Android calculator apps around XDA, some more featured packed than others, but the apps themselves remain vanilla and true to their origins. XDA Forum Member hamzawi has developed one calculator app that truly deserves some recognition due to the outstanding and unique features (for a calculator anyways).

AID Calculator (Vocal Scientific Calc in the Play Store) is a scientific calculator capable of doing what it should but in more than just one way. The app has voice recognition enabled on it, which means that instead of having to type an entire equation to get the answer you are looking for, you can simply talk to your device and it will do the typing and the calculation for you. If that’s not enough, the app is also TTS enabled, which means that it will read back the results to you in case you cannot read the answers (i.e. you cannot look at your screen because you are focused on something else). Last but not least (and my personal favorite feature), you can literally shake the calculator for it to give you the answer.  All in all, when the equation is in, you can shake the device and the answer will literally fall from it.

Some of the other features include automatic plotting, pinch to zoom on plots (axis scaling), and much more. Please take the app for a spin and leave some feedback for the dev. One last thing, do not use this during an exam. You may end up regretting it.

Hi all here is a new android calculator with voice recognition and lot of functions,we spend 6 months to develop this application, so please don’t hesitate to download it and rate it,that will help us very much
