Try Froyo on your PC

Ok we have now Gingerbread around for our devices, but what about testing Froyo on your computer? XDA member tomlogan1 let us know about a way to do it, of course some coding language knowledge is needed but nothing that will completely confuse you. You will need to download VMware, a desktop virtualization software that will let you install Froyo on your PC.
You can try this to show off with your friends but not as a replacement for your every day OS. This is no doubt fun to try. Please leave feed back whether it is working or not for you.

FROYO on your PC
All of the developments here around Froyo are very exciting, and now, as if there’s not enough to play with, here’s a link to a site that will allow you to run Froyo on your PC
Why on your PC? Why not? I downloaded a VMware version of Froyo, installed it on a USB drive and it actually boots! I can get to my WIFI and looks like a great way to fool around.
Continue to the original thread to know more about this.
