Two Sense 4 One V Ports for the HTC Incredible S

What is better than getting one ported ROM with the latest version of Android and HTC Sense? How about getting two, as the HTC Incredible S has received very recently. The ports have quite a few similarities. Both feature Android 4.0.3 and HTC Sense 4. Additionally, both are based off RUUs from the HTC One V. So users will get, more or less, the same basic UI experience with these ports.
The ports do have a number of differences, though. The first, created by XDA Senior Member htc-phones is based off of the 1.56.401.2 RUU whereas the second, by XDA Recognized Developer nikhil007mmus is based off the slightly newer 1.57.709.1. package As such, both ROMs have a different list of things that work, and both have different requirements for installation.
Htc-phones’s version requires that users be running the Black Rose HBoot, otherwise the ROM will not boot. Additionally, htc-phones has proclaimed that everything works, although the ROM is still in the testing phase, so the full functionality list hasn’t been ironed out yet.
Nikhil007mmus’s version is very similar, but the list of things not working is complete, and includes native WiFi hotspot, problems with the HTC camera app at 8 MP, and keypad backlight. Luckily, the camera does take pictures at 5mp, and with the temporary fix available for the keypad back lights, that really only leaves the WiFi Hotspot as the only problem. Both ROMs seem pretty stable, and either could be used as a daily driver.
