Amazing developments are something we’re not new to here on XDA, with our amazing community of outstanding developers and friends. But that doesn’t mean there aren’t surprises around every corner.
Today’s surprise comes from XDA member anantshri, who has successfully managed to get Backtrack 5 to run on an Xperia X10. Backtrack, based on Ubuntu Lucid LTS, is a Linux distribution, which offers the user a range of security-related tools.
Anantshri is looking for fellow developers to help wade through the code and test the system to find out what tools do and don’t work.
Now will need support from the fellow developers in establishing what all tools are running fine and what not.
A log file has also been provided for you to help, so if you own an X10 and would like to lend a helping hand to a fine developer, head on over to the original thread!
Thanks for the tip, GlossGhost!_________
