The Samsung Galaxy R, a lesser spec’d variant of the Samsung Galaxy S II, was plagued with hardware problems not long after it’s release, and production was soon halted. Due to this, it’s certainly not one of the busier device forums on XDA. That said, we can report that the Galaxy R has now received an unofficial port of ever popular CyanogenMod 10.
XDA Senior Member Adam77Root (with the help of XDA Senior Member karthik050782) has worked his magic and has managed to get a semi-stable release together for Galaxy R users. Though currently labelled “Alpha 2,” the list of working features is enough to get most device owners salivating:

There are a few workarounds required for various thing, but considering the ROM is still in an alpha state, the functionality of the ROM is impressive.
