Update for Spanish Galaxy Tab Users

Yesterday, we published an article that talked about a major milestone for all Galaxy Tab owners… well, almost every Galaxy Tab owner. As it turns out, there are two more variants of the GSM models, the P1000L and the P1000N, which are made for Spanish speakers. Apparently, according to XDA moderator Chainfire, there were some differences between the tabs and thus the patch needed some extra work. However, within 24 hours of releasing the first version, he has graced the remaining user base with this fix. Now, every Galaxy Tab owner can update to the latest firmwares without the fear of locking their devices down. I am positive my fellow Spanish speaking members are saying “Gracias” to Chainfire for all his work.
Has this fix worked for you? Be sure to post some feedback in the corresponding thread.
After a great many hours of researching, testing and coding, myself (Chainfire) and Rotohammer have come up with a patch that works on most devices (currently all known GSM Tab variants), and flashes back unprotected JJ4 (T-Mobile ?) bootloaders, or the original P1000N bootloaders for the Latin models. The app only patches when it finds protected bootloaders, and you have to press a button for that, so the app can also be used to look at your current status.
You can find more information in the patch thread.
