Use Your Own Background With the Transparent XDA App

Are you a fan of the XDA App? Would you like for it to be a way to make it look different? If that is the case, then take a look at what XDA member theimpaler747 with collaboration of Pendo have for us. The XDA App as it stands right now has a rather neutral background, which is good for all practical purposes, but the devs have worked on a mod for this app which will make it transparent to the wallpaper that you have on. For instance, in the case of the screenshot in this article, you are looking at a LWP called Solar Winds (free in the market). The XDA App can now use this as the backdrop instead of the light blue that we are all used to. Remember that this only affects the background, so make sure that you choose the correct one or you may not be able to see what you are trying to read if the colors are too conflicting.
Please leave some feedback for the devs and any suggestions you may have to improve the mod.
Ok, a brief intro. I love the look of the the Live Wallpaper Solar Wind on the market, and wanted to make as many aspects of my phone transparent to really allow this LWP to shine. As you can see from my sig, I’ve already made a great deal of my widgets transparent, but I wanted to make XDA transparent as well. And, with the help of Pendo, we managed to do just that! Hope you guys enjoy, and updates will be coming in the next few days to fix a few minor issues, namely a few tex color issues and splash screen caveats.
