Wanna Add Some Light to your Streak?

So, you’ve been eyeing up the many apps floating around for other Android devices that turn your LED into a flashlight. Well, now’s your chance to try out a flashlight app developed especially for the Dell Streak.

XDA forum member moneytoo could not find a working flashlight app for the Streak that would turn the LED off as well as turn the LED on, so decided to write an app himself.

All you have to do is download, install and launch StreakLight to switch the LED on and off. The dev uses the app on Android 2.1, and is requesting users on Android 1.6 to try out the app and report feedback.

Requires root.
