One of the biggest advantages of having devices unlocked or otherwise accessible is the fact that we can mod them to our heart’s content. Among some of the most popular modifications, using storage space that has been reserved by the manufacturers always seems to be a crowd pleaser. So, if you are the lucky owner of a Nook Touch, should see what XDA member meghd00t has put out there for you.
As it turns out, the Nook Touch has quite a bit of on board storage reserved for books and downloads, but if you are reading this, it probably means that you have better uses for the precious ROM memory, such as installing apps. By applying a few commands via a Linux loaded PC, you can modify the values needed to increase your available storage.
As stated before, you will need to be a bit familiar with Linux in order to apply this. Please let us know if it worked for you and leave some feedback for the dev.
I wanted to increase the available space for my side loaded content and reduce the space for B&N downloads
