One of the great things about the Android OS is the level of customization that it allows. Whether you prefer a vast array of icons and widgets or a clean and simple look, the possibilities are nearly endless. However you prefer your home screens to look, there’s a pretty good chance that you will have either the time or weather information in there somewhere. If you like to combine the two and are currently using an Android 4.0 ROM, or just like the aesthetics of 4.0, XDA Senior Member slovenec88 has the perfect application for you.
WeatherLove is a basic weather app coupled with a set of widgets which will allow you to display both the time and weather information relevant to your location in an ICS style. There are four widgets included in both landscape and portrait sizes.
- 2×1 Current weather
- 4×1 Three day forecast
- 4×2 Current weather and clock
- 4×4 Current weather and forecast
You can define your location manually or via GPS, and the weather information is currently provided by Google. So far the currently supported languages are English, German, Italian, Slovenian, and Croatian. Swedish, Norwegian, and others are to follow shortly. If you are able to help translate the app into your native language, the developer is happy to add these translations as they are provided.
If you would like to try WeatherLove for yourself then check out the application thread.
