Weatherlove Given Substantial Update

About a year and a half ago, we featured an innovative weather app that gave a fresh and exciting UI to the otherwise bland world of weather widgets. Back then, we predominately noted Weatherlove’s adherence to the design language ushered in by Ice Cream Sandwich. Well that was quite a long time ago, and XDA Forum Member slovenec88‘s app has grown up and received a rather substantial update. However, despite the update, it still retains all of its Holo-themed goodness from before.
Just as before, the main application is what you would expect from a typical weather app. However, it also has a collection of widgets in various sizes for you to place on your home screens. In addition to the four widgets that were present before, Weatherlove now offers two additional widgets: a 4×1 clock and weather widget and a 1×1 current weather widget. Weatherlove also drastically increased the number of supported languages from five to 19, with even more on the way.
If you’ve been on the hunt for a new weather app and widget, you should consider giving Weatherlove a try. It offers great functionality and its aesthetic will certainly fit in with any Android 4.0+ device. Head over to the application thread to get some of that Weatherlove.
