WiFi Mouse Turns Your Android Phone into a Mouse

We are using our Android phones are all kinds of things these days, some of which are rather creative: FTP servers, web servers, and much more. Some things are for fun, and others are actually useful. There is now an application called WiFi Mouse that turns your Android phone into a mouse.

XDA Senior Member Williams.Joe┬áposted the application to the Samsung Galaxy S II forums. Even so, it should work on most Android devices. The app itself is pretty nifty. It connects to your computer using a WiFi connection, and it allows you to use your device’s screen as a mouse. Some of the features include:

* Mouse curser movement
* left and right click support
* Middle mouse button scroll
* Remote keyboard input
* Speech-to-text input for all languages
* Mouse & keyboard full screen
* Auto-connect on application startup
* Compatible with XP/Windows Vista/Windows 7/Windows 8/ Mac OSX

You can use it for pretty much any mouse action. This can really come in handy for many users, especially those who travel often or rely on battery powered mice. Being able to connect your smartphone to use a mouse so you can keep surfing XDA is definitely a useful thing. Users have had some problems with it, though. The biggest is that it doesn’t support click and drag functionality on every device. So if you move a lot of stuff around on your computer, you may need an actual mouse.
