XDA Exclusive: HTC Knight (Updated)

Thanks to a source of ours, we got some news about a new phone coming to Sprint. The phone is called the HTC Knight and runs Android. However, we are unsure of what version exactly. It has a sliding screen, which indicates some sort of keyboard based on the following text from an XML file.

3. Make sure to activate your device before you operate the handset by setting up the Google account on the device. 4. To view the contacts on the device, select “Contacts” and push “Menu” button, select “Display group > All contacts > OK”. 5. Do not slide screen in/out during the operation.

It also looks like an Evo and has the same micro USB plug. For now, all we have is this one image of the device. Our source stated that they usually get this sort of info 2 weeks before release, but the source also received some other content indicating that release may be closer than expected. We will try to get more information on this as soon as we can.

Update 17:17 PDT: Thanks to our source, we found out that the screen size will be 3.7 inches, which is same as the Nexus One.
