What started out as an enthusiast meetup has turned into the largest community-driven event in just its 4th year, and the Big Android BBQ is just around the corner. XDA has been a proud sponsor of the BABBQ in the past, and this year is no different. We’ll have a wonderful booth filled with moderators and developers from the XDA community as well as attendees anxious to discuss the latest Android-related news. XDA will also be sponsoring two talks by Elite Recognized Developer’s Dees_Troy (TWRP lead developer) and XpLoDWilD (Focal developer and highly involved Android platform and application developer), but more on that later.
With companies like Sony Mobile, HTC, Swappa, and Oppo sponsoring; it’s slated to be an exciting time. Here are just a few things that are in store for those attending the BABBQ this year:
- Code Kitchen with the Google Developers Group Dallas.
- Talks with topics ranging from Application Development 101, Best Practices for Experienced Developers, Hack ‘n’ Mod, to Android: Beyond the Phone.
- All different skill levels, from Intermediate to Advanced and Enthusiast, will be able to whet their appetites on presentations from amazing speakers.
If you haven’t purchased your tickets yet for the event on Oct 10-12, make sure you do so via this link. And for those who have, make sure to stop in at the XDA booth and say hello!
