Xposed Framework 2.3: New Features, MIUI and x86 Support

xposedinstaller

By now, you have undoubtedly already heard of Recognized Developer rovo89‘s powerful and versatile Xposed Framework (thread). In fact, chances are that you already have the framework installed, as well as a couple of modules. That’s with good reason, as there aren’t very many reasons why you wouldn’t want to be running Xposed. Unfortunately, however, not everyone has hardware that is compatible with the framework.

Some time ago, we wrote about how XDA Forum Member liudongmiao managed to backport the Xposed Framework to devices running Gingerbread. While this brought the framework to a group previously unable to enjoy it, this didn’t solve the problem for everyone—namely users running MIUI-based ROMs and owners of x86-powered mobile devices. Thankfully, rovo89 has added support for both groups in Xposed Framework 2.3, as well as adding support for SELinux/SEAndroid/Knox users, and ROMs without JIT enabled. In addition to the increased compatibility, version 2.3 also brings new features such as a context menu in the modules list that allows you to uninstall, view app info, and more.

You can learn more by visiting the framework thread and update post.
