You’ve most likely been in the situation where you’re immersed in the game you’re playing, be it furiously slicing up fruit or shooting pigs with birds from a slingshot, when you must suddenly exit what you’re doing just to see a new notification. This can get quite annoying and frustrating, especially when the notification is truly nothing noteworthy.
Notification Popup Alert is an independently developed app by XDA Forum Member TraberSoftware, and it conveniently displays any new notifications on the bottom of the screen whenever a notification pops up. The app can either notify you of notifications from all apps installed on your device, or let you select which apps you want to be able to notify you. Popup alerts can be of two shades, light or dark, and upon touch, will disappear.
Notification Popup Alert is a great application for when you’re using full-screen apps on your device such as games or web browsing. The concept may not be revolutionary, but the app’s function is simple and practical. Still currently in it’s Beta phase, the app can be downloaded onto your Android device running Android versions 2.1 and newer for free from the Play store.
