Asus Eee Pad Transformer Forums Added

You all wanted it, you begged for it, created threads on top of threads on top of even more threads. So, we decided to go ahead an add it to our ever growing list of forums. The much anticipated Asus Eee Pad Transformer has finally arrived at xda-developers. Aside from this being the first Android tablet from this manufacturer, it is also the first device from Asus to ever make it to our beloved forums. Asus is normally good at everything they do, and the tablet in questions has not been the exception. Hardware wise, it is an absolute beast with Honeycomb, a dual core Tegra processor, incredible display, docking station/keyboard a la Atrix (and funny enough, cheaper than the Atrix with the dock, according to some preliminary pricing floating around), 3D surround sound, amazing battery life, and so much more.

If you were thinking of getting a tablet and were not certain what you would get, wait until this baby gets to the stores. Once you do get one, you can swing by the forums to check out the coolest developments.

You can visit the Asus Eee Pad Transformer home on XDA.

Huawei: A Giant the Western World Should Look Out For

The smartphone landscape is drastically changing its focus. What was once a North-America-centric monopoly of high-specification phones is now merely an afterimage of the past. The meat of the game is elsewhere now; emerging markets looking for good bang-for-buck are what OEMs are increasingly aiming towards, and in this new game the old players must adapt-or-die. Xiaomi has grown at one of the most notable rates in the industry, leading it to become the world's most valuable start-up; and its...
