First AOSP 2.3.5 ROMs Appearing

XDA member AdamG has posted the first AOSP 2.3.5 ROM. It is not full AOSP as it has a few bugfixes incorporated as well as a few added features and a minimalist approach with the included apps. Some of the more notable features include: The ability to download any file type; SIP calling over 3G built in; The ability to sync your facebook contacts; An advanced power menu including screenshot options. Xperia X1 Gets CM7

XDA member faryaab has compiled CM7 RC4 for the Xperia X1. This custom ROM is called "F1 CM7" and from a quick glance at the list of what works and what doesn't, it seems to be quite usable. It also seems quite simple to use and reminds me of running Android from the SD card on the HD2. I know, the X1 is sort of an old phone but it's up to the community to keep phones like this functioning...

CF-Root 2.6 For Galaxy S I9000

XDA moderator Chainfire has been hard at work on his kernel for the Galaxy S I9000. To quote him "This rooted kernel is for the "rooting beginners" and those who want to keep as close to stock as possible.
