The OnePlus 3 is great. You may have seen the extensive review that was posted on XDA, but today we are going to talk about what you can do to make the OnePlus 3 even better. Let's go over some of the most common gripes of the phone and a few mods that can fix them.

Screen Brightness

Many people were disappointed with the maximum screen brightness on the OnePlus 3.  For rooted devices, the High Brightness Mode Widget from the Play Store can give your screen a little boost when you need it. The widget is minimalistic and only takes one tap to turn up the brightness beyond its default max.

Memory Management

At launch, the OnePlus 3 came with a rather disappointing approach to memory management. The number of apps and processes that you could run at once was limited, only recently bumped with the latest update. You can modify this in the build.prod file to get the most out of your RAM.

Vibration Strength

The vibration strength on this phone can leave many unsatisfied. Get the Vibration Tuner Xposed mod to make your phone's vibrations register on the Richter scale.

Screen Density

In order to take full advantage of your phone's 5.5" screen, you can tune your screen density to get more information on any given screen. In order to do this, you can use a terminal emulator. Use the command "wm density" followed by your choice in DPI value.

Check out the Xposed mod App Settings to set a specific DPI value for different apps, so that everything else works as it should should you stumble upon an issue inside an app.
