Change Fonts On Your Xperia X8
If you’re bored of the standard font on your Xperia X8, XDA forum member suhel28 has helpfully provided a script to enable you to swap out the system font to another of your choice.
You’ll need to create a new FONTS folder on your SD card, placing any font (.ttf) file in the folder. Note that you must only place one font in the folder at any one time).
Then, you just need to download and extract the script on the root of your SD card, and run it using Terminal Emulator on your mobile Android device.
The script performs the following functions:
- Renames the font placed in the fonts folder.
- Replaces the fonts.
- Will create a backup of your original font on your SD card.
For more information, including to download the script, head on over to the modification thread. Members have also posted more freeware fonts in the thread.
